Warren B. Cole was born in Fort Collins, Colorado, March 3,1949. He received his B.S. in Naval Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1971. He served on active duty both as a Midshipman and as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1976. Mr. Cole received his law degree from the University of Oregon in 1979, where he was made a member of The Order of the Coif and received a Certificate in Ocean Law. He is the author of "Continental Shelf Boundaries in the Eastern Caribbean Under Revision One of the Informal Composite Negotiating Text" ; which was awarded the Edwin D. Ford Memorial Award for 1979 from the Inter-American Bar Association. Mr. Cole clerked for the Hon. Warren H. Young, District Court of the Virgin Islands, 1979-1980. He joined the firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1986. He is a member of the bars of the Virgin Islands and the State of Oregon, and is admitted to practice before the United States court of appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
